clearing history and all

I know how to clear the cookies, temp internet, and history in my win xp,
but now when I go to start>run, I sometimes see other things that I want
cleared out of there....how do I do this?

I'm not so sure if you can delete anything from the Run list...I've tried
several ways now, still no luck

I did a google search, came up with this, but there was nothing in the
runMRU folder.
Hoping someone else has something. For now, guess I'll just run a bunch of
garbage to hide my previous garbage.

Yes, you can [although technically not from the Run Box]. For instance,
Start/Run/type "prefetch' [less quotes] and click "OK"/this will open the
"Prefetch" Folder/if you want to delete them all (which I do), go to "Edit"
Menu and click "Select All"/this will Select all (highlighted)/go to "File"
Menu and click "Delete"/OK the caution window/they are gone!!

Nope, didn't work...all it did was clear the latest programs in the start
menu.
My run menu was cleared after I restarted the pc, but I don't want to go
through that every time if I don't have to.
