Go to control panel and click the Internet Option icon. Next click the
Content tab. In the content tab window click the Auto complete button. This
opens the autocomplete settings window. Remvove the check mark from the Web
Addresses option. Finally press Ok. In the next window press OK again to
exit. This will prevent addresses being stored.
I usually clear mine by Right clicking on a vacant area of the task bar
between the start button and clock. from the drop down menu select
Properties. Click the Start menu tab and then click the Customise button.
Next click the Advanced tab and then click the Clear list in the recent
documents section. I also remove the check mark from the list my most recent
opened documents option.
