start/run and the item disappear in a flash

In start/run/ mplayer2, why did the media player appear like a flash and
gone in no time. Any reason and how do we resolve it, thanks
 
Does Windows Media Player 6.4 start from a shortcut? Double clicking
mplayer2.exe in C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player?

Any particular reason that you're wanting to use WMP 6.4?

Windows Media Player 9 is wmplayer.exe in C:\Program Files\Windows Media
Player.
