Start, Programs, *Folder*, *subfolder* entry

Hi All,
As the subject states, I opened Start, Programs, *Folder >* and got the
'slide out' menu for the subfolders (items), of which, there was an item I
wanted to place as a shortcut on my desktop. (I know, I should have done
this from the program folder in Windows Explorer). Anyway, I managed to
move the shortcut to the desktop (by dragging) and now it is no longer on
the slide out menu from the main program folder.....I do have the shortcut
on my desktop.
How can I move this shortcut back to the 'slide out' menu'? ......at
which time I will make the proper shortcut. This is not a 'biggie'....the
shortcut works from the desktop, I would just like to have the option remain
available from Start, Programs.
Thanks.

After all this and making a post, I figured it out. All I had to do was
look at the Properties of the *Folder* to see where it was located (I was
looking in 'Program Files', duh) and was able to drag the shortcut back to
where it belonged and create a proper one for the desktop. All is well,
sorry for the premature cry for help....actually, I've been trying to figure
this out for days!

As you said, use Windows Explorer and Copy and Paste the shortcut back where it belongs.
