Start outlook 2003 "unable to open default email folders. OLE reg.

I try to start outlook 2003 and get the following error message "unable to
open default email folders. OLE registration error. Reinstall ...".

I have Office Basic Edition 2003. Ran install "fix" and reinstall, no
change to problem. Should I delete all of Office and retry? What will have
to all by personalized settings in word, excel, etc.

outlook ask for a *.pst file on your computer.
If there is no pst file you have to create a new profile.

Thanks for the comment. The *.pst file was were it should be. Outlook just
shut down ... did not give me a chance to tell it were the file was located.

I was able to resolve the problem by using the "roll back" feature of XP.
