Start Menu Recently Used Program Icons are missing

On my profile all the recently used program icons are missing. All other
profiles have them. Start Menu | Properties | General | has 10 as the number
of recently used programs shortcuts to display. No recent changes to the
machine. Any ideas?

1. Try a System Restore rollback.
