Start Menu Problem

Currently using Windows XP Professional. Pressing "START" to display the
menu, when the cursor move to "PROGRAM", the menu cannot expand to see the
contents of installed programs. Furthermore, even click on "PROGRAM" cannot
view or expand the contents. As a result, I have changed the "START" menu
mode back to the Classic mode.

Please assist.

Tried the instructions, but the problem remains.
I do believe the problem is inside the Registry. One point I think may be
important: the problem does NOT occur when I switch back to Classic Menu
mode.
