Windows 2000 workstation, all hotfixes, latest virus
definition, and scanned with adaware.

For some reason..after pushing the start button in the
taskbar and having the menu pop up. (The one containing
programs, my documents, settings, etc) You can not click
on any of the options?

Everything on the computer seems to be fine..I killed the
process in task manager and restarted explorer.exe but the
behaviour is still there.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Has this ever worked?
Does is work in Safe Mode?
Does it work when you log in using a local account (as opposed to a domain
account) ?

It has worked and works again once the machine is rebooted
only to start acting up again later.

Haven't tried Safe Mode yet.

I have to wait till later today to try this. I thought of
this after my original post but can't interrupt the user
till later.

I will post what I find out
