sorry for the previous empty post, my mistake

i use the original XP start menu, and i've recently noticed that i can't
fill it out with items and half of its size is blank
if i try to add a new item to start menu, by using "pin to start menu" ,
those items decrease in size and half of the column is still unused
i must mention that i clean the windows registry daily, using Tune Up
Utilities 2007[i hope i didn't remove some needed keys:(]
i apologize if this issue was already disscused here, but i didn't find
something similar
appreciate help
thanks

It's not certain that is the cause, but there is no reason to use a registry
cleaner in XP. They cause more harm than good, and it's possible it did
cause your problem. Unused entries in the registry generally don't cause
any problem. The way to handle issues with the registry is to edit it
manually when there is a specific need or problem to address. We see
regular posts in here where the OP used a registry cleaner and then had some
inexplicable problems.

You could try doing a system restore to before this issue occurred, and toss
the registry cleaner.
