Start menu goof

I know this is minor and stupid but it's driving me nutso.

I use the 'classic' start menu. Somehow I managed to 'drag & drop'
the expandable MY DOCUMENTS & MY PICTURES folders into my
Documents Listing.

I haven't been able to move, copy, replace them, or even find 'em on
the c drive to manually move them. I have to go to Documents/My
Documents or My pictures to use them.

I want them back into my main start menu! And in the 'expandable
version' (I did make shortcuts to these folders, and put them in the
start menu, but they wouldn't 'expand' even though I made sure the box
was checked in the 'settings', so I deleted them.)

How do I do this???

Thanks...

There are lots of shortcuts. Two are shortcuts and folder shortcuts (there was only one type once). Folder shortcuts expand (on Start) and shortcuts don't.

Creating a shortcut to a folder creates a folder shortcut, creating a shortcut to a folder shortcut (which always links to the original target not the shortcut) creates a normal (and at one stage only) shortcut that doesn't expand.

Having said that your post is garbled and I don't understand the details of what you are trying to say.
