Start Menu Display Problem

M

Mike Klaiber

I have just re-formatted and reinstalled WinXP Pro.

The Start Menu program list now appears as a single column, with scroll
buttons, top and bottom, rather than splitting into columns across the
screen, as previously.

Can anyone offer any solution to this please ?

Regards.

Hi

Try this:

Right click on the Start button and select Properties>Customise - and then
scroll down the list to 'Use Personalised Menus' - uncheck it.

Right click on the start button. Choose properties. On the Start Menu
tab select customize > advanced tab. Find the setting for Scroll
Programs and uncheck.

Thanks Will.

I've now found the answer. It is the advanced tab, and you then need to
untick the "Scroll Programs" box.

Regards.
