Start In Folder - Problem installing MSI with GPO

V

vIndEx

I have a MSI that create a shortcut in the desktop to the application
installed.

When I Install my app with a group policy the "Start In" folder of the
shortcut is "D:\" (cdrom drive) instead of "C:\Program Files\MyApp".

If I install the msi as usual, no problem appears.

Any ideas?

Thank you

on a target/goat machine, enable msi logging (google for 'voice
warmup') - after the GPO install, have a look at the properties

alternatively, open the msi in orca and validate it
