Start a new slide number inside a presentation

I have merged 3 PowerPoint presentations into 1. My old presentations
had slidenumbers as follows: 1-10, 1-15 and 1-5. The new (merged)
presenations shows 1-30.

Is there any way to "reset" the slidenumber to one inside an
presentation?

You could keep the three presentations separate (don't merge them) and create
links at the end of the first two presentations to link to the 2nd and 3rd
presentations respectively.
