How can I change the locale setting in a cmd script. The Regional setting is en_us and I must start a service with de_de

How can help

Thank

You have to reboot the system. So I doubt what you want will work.

No, that's not the problem. I must start one service with en_us and one other service with de_de. I hope you understand what I mean.

I understand what you mean sort of. But Windows 2000 does not allow you to change locales on the fly. That is supposed to be coming or is here with XP. Not sure. It is a long sought after functionality. I suppose you could change the Regional Settings using Windows Scripting Host but you will still need to reboot for the change to take effect.
