I've read that ubisoft and another big gaming company are both dropping
starforce. If you are trying to install their games theres a patch on the
starforce site for vista. This will allow the starforce driver to load upon
startup.
Unfortunatly all those games just freeze when trying to run for me though.
StarForce games will not work in Vista Beta2. StarForce vendor in Germany
will need to release a patch. Vista RC1 will actually block the StarForce
drivers and give you a nice message explaining that.
Better than a bug check.
