Visit the support website of the manufacturer of your computer
or video card adapter, search for Windows XP compatible drivers,
download and install them. The Standby button should then appear.

Note: If you have a notebook computer, download the video adapter
drivers only from the notebook computer manufacturer's support website.

Thank you.

Make sure you download and install all the necessary drivers required
for your Compaq. Also make sure the power saver features have been
installed. Compaqs are very proprietary machines and will not work
right unless you use the drivers and hardware specified by the system.
