stacked bar charts & fonts

I have a stacked bar chart showing 12 months of information; therefore, the chart is updated monthly. A bar to the far left is removed and one is added to the far right. When that is done, the font sizes for the data series do not hold. I always want them 12 pt and they always default to some big sized font.

Is there anyway to change the default for fonts in PowerPoint? I do not always use "general" PPnt templates. thanks--

When you're in MS Graph, go to Format/Font and deselect the AutoScale
option.
