SQL Server Instance

We want to use BCM 2007 on a centralized database. I already have SQL server
installed running several databases. We also plan to install BES Server on
this box. The instance name of the SQL server is not MSSMLBIZ. Is the a way
I can make Outlook connect to this server or it absolutely need to have
MSSMLBIZ as the instance name?

Dmitri Yukhnovets

no you don't need specify the same instance like MSSMLBIZ
yyou can use default MSSQL
also you dont need use port 5356, use standard 1433
just specify it when connecting "MSSQL, 1433"
