SQL Server Install does not end

When I try to install BCM the SQL Server Install does not end. As soon as it
gets to the end it restarts.

I have SQL Server Express already installed on my machine from another
application so I don't know if this is something to do with.

There is nothing in the log file so I am at a loss as to know how to proceed.

I am still have the same problem with SQL Server. I tried to install the
latest hotfix and it crashes. I tried to install it from Windows update but
no luck so I downloaded the hotfix directly but when I install that it
crashes.

Any thoughts? SQL Server Express still works for another application but no
such luck getting it to work with BCM.

It sounds like there something wrong with your sql installation. BCM
setup needs to set up a sql instance for BCM. If that fails, BCM won't
be able to create databases.
