SQL Server and Windows Vista

I was install Sql Server Standard edition in windows vista, and don't let me
install Reporting Service because the IIS not was install. I have de IIS 7
Installed? what can I do for fix this?

Hello John,

That is not true. MSDE / SQL Server express is not compatible with Vista.
Microsoft is working on a service pack for SQL Server Express, no word yet
on when that will be available. SQL Server as a standalone product is supported
on Vista. I recommend installing the SQL Server 2005 SP2 CTP for maximum
stability.

That's a known issue with SQL Server on Vista. Don't get too worried,
remember that if you have RTM, it's still an early adopter program. Vista
doesn't officially release until January 30th. I'm sure the SQL Server team
will have patches as soon afterwards as possible.
