sql server 2005 connection

I've just upsized to using SQL Server with Access as my front end. I'm using
SQL authentication and have to re-login nearly every time I run a query or
open a form and my queries frequently time out.
What have I done wrong?

Navigate to the Linked Table Manager
Navigate to your data source and this time check the box that says 'Save
Password'
Refresh all the links and close
