It's the same database engine. It runs on devices or the desktop, just like
it currently does. The only difference really is the license now allows
using it on desktops other than XP Tablet.
Do you have specific speed issues with SQL Mobile that we might help with?
I've found the performance to be excellent, but in some low memory
situations I only get that performance by using TableDirect.
