SQL Database Link

I recently had a problem that reequired that I restore my system to a point
about 2 weeks back. Now, all of the Contacts that I had moved to BCM have
disappeared. I note that the SQL Server Tray Icon indicates not connected.
When I copen ther Server Manager I do not find any server or services listed.

How do I find and link to the Server and database containing my BCM Contacts?

Reinstall BCM and restore from BCM backup. You do make them, right?

What kind of utility did you use - was it XP System Restore or something
like Norton GoBack?

Run a search on your system (
Click Start and choose Search
Select to search in All files and Folders
Click inside the All or part of the file name and type in *.bcm; *.msbcm;
*.mdf; *.ldf - be sure to keep those semicolons where I typed them.
Then click on More advanced options and choose to search system folders,
hidden files and folders, and subfolders
Finally click search

Let us know if you find any of these files.

It sounds like you moved contacts from your regular Outlook Contacts into
BCM. Check if those contacts are now in your Deleted Items folder.
