spyware

I believe one of my computers has been attacked by
spyware. My homepage has been hijacked and can't be
reset and things are running very slow. It also seems to
have affected norton antivirus too. I was going to run
spybot s&d to see if that cures it. And after that
install Norton 2004. Is this the way to go?
