Spyware

i've downloaded spyware remover from microsoft. what
happened was i've got spyware in my computer. my IE has
been hijacked. i used the remover to remove.. all have
been removed but the problem is it comes back or should i
say my internet explorer is stilll being hijacked. so
what should i do? i tried on lavasoft's adaware as well.
but it is still the same thing.. i need help..

-Start Adaware and "Check for updates", yesterday they
updated definitons.

-Scan again

I have a similar problem. I did find that if I run the
scan in SAFE MODE the hijacker is removed. However, as
soon as I reboot in normal mode, the hijacker reappears.

Also, I noticed my recycle bin is acting strangely. In
SAFE MODE it shows empty with no option to 'empty recycle
bin'. However, when I reboot in normal mode, the recycle
bin icon shows items in the bin. When I open the recylce
bin, no items are present, but I now have the option
to 'empty recycle bin'. Even if I do that, the icon still
shows items in the bin.

What is going on?
