Spyware vs Spyware Doctor

G

Greg Pickett

The following details the spyware risks that were
identified by the above program.
This scan was conducted after a full scan of Microsoft
Antispyware (BETA).

Could you please advise why the Spyware Doctor picked up
these issues whilst the Microsoft program did not.

The Spyware program is only the base level and has not yet
been registered to have the full version scan the system.

Initial information from PC Tools is that there may be
other risks which will be picked up with the full version
post registration. Great way to have people pay for the
program.

It's kind of hard to tell from this list. The last one is a cookie--these
builds of Microsoft antispyware don't look at cookies.

FunWebProducts and CWS are both definite baddies, but is what was found
something indicative of actual live infection, or just a remnant that was
missed? The CWS reference involves a syntax I haven't seen--and I wonder
whether it is a false positive?

Googling for this one, it looks like a legit piece of Logitech software.
