spyware that Defender does not detect - detected by Spybot

I get, a lot of times, three spyware softwares, detected by a SPYBOT run:
1. DoubleClick
2. Avenue A, Inc
3. FastClick
these are information collecting software.
Defender never detects them, WHY???

Windows Defender doesn't handle cookies. It leaves that job to the browser.

This, of course, removes ALL cookies, not just third party cookies which may
be a privacy issue.

I'd go for ad-aware or spybot search and destroy, myself.

No wonder everyone seems to think that cookies need to be handled by Defender.

Simply set Internet Explorer 6 or 7 to Block all Third-party cookies and
you'll never see them again. You must remove them one last time after
changing this setting though.

How to Manage Cookies in Internet Explorer 6

Blocking Unwanted Cookies with IE 6 - Recommended Settings

I also set First-Party cookies to Prompt, but this tends to pop-up alot of
allow/block dialog boxes, especially at first. Setting Third-party cookies to
Block is totally silent and has created absolutely no browsing issues of any
kind.

This method of blocking cookies vs detecting later with antispyware (useless
since they've already done their dirtywork), is even recommended by Patrick
Kolla, developer of Spybot Search & Destroy and his Team.

Why do other anti-spyware applications detect so many more tracking cookies?
