Windows defender did not detect spyware that Spybot S&D detected

Windows defender did not detect these.

It looks to me that these might be leftover's from an imperfect removal of
the apropos toolbar.

Report a possible spyware problem to Microsoft

Can you follow the spyware submission instructions in the help to make sure
WD have your samples if you still have them?

Also, what AV are you running? I think, Usually, flat out malware like this
is in your AV signatures.

If this occurs again (and I think it will), I'll submit it via Windows
Defender.
I do not have the samples, I had them removed by Spybot.
My AV is McAfee and the virus definitions are up to date.

Spybot S&D detected:
The effectiveness of an individual A-S scanners can be wide-ranging and
oftentimes a collection of scanners is best. There isn't one software that
cleans and immunizes you against everything. That's why you need multiple
products to do the job i.e. overlap their coverage - one may catch what
another may miss.
