Spyware Team

I'm researching into using MS Anit-Spyware on a long term basis. I was
wondering where I can find releases of the transfer between Giant and
Microsoft, I would like to know if the current Giant software team is
remaining on this project. I would feel much better knowing that the people
who created one of the best anti-spyware software is still in controll of
the project under microsoft.

This link:
Microsoft Executive Circle Webcast: Security360 with Mike Nash:
Keeping an Eye on Spyware

should get you to a replay of a webcast in which the general issue of
Spyware is highlighted. Among the participants is someone from the Giant
acquisition--can't recall his precise role with the original product, but
he's a significant player.

If the link doesn't work a google on "security 360 webcast spyware" should
bring it up.

If you are using a Mozilla based browser, the expand conversation mechanism
in the web-based mechanism used for these forums doesn't work properly.

I never have a problem reading news in Thunderbird. Not a browser, but
still a Mozilla product.

Ah--but you are reading news, not using the HTML interface to these groups.

There are two interfaces to these messages, one HTML, for browsers, and
NNTP. And, with luck, the HTML interface will see some improvements before
long.
