Spyware Scan

When Antispyware has finsihed scanning the Regerestry it
says "Calculating what to do" (something like that) it
freezes and locks up then my screen turns black and all
there is is my cursor.

And when it says realtime protection I think of that it's
protecting me from spyware getting on my computer. It
found over 14000 signatures of Claria or something like
that and it's not doing a damn thing about it.

MWAS didn't put the junk there.

Try this:
Boot into Safe Mode (F8) at startup;
Empty your temporary files AND your Temporary Internet Files C:\Documents
and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder ;
Run the scan while in safe mode;
If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any
BHO's that you don't recognize.

Before fixing a spyware deleting problems(if any) you
should fix all the freezing bugs. Every other second
AntiSpyware is frozen.
