Microsoft real-time protection ignore Claria.

Microsoft's Windows AntiSpyware application is no longer
flagging adware products from Claria Corp. as a threat to
PC users.

what's going on, i thought this utilitis is a antispyware

real-time protection will ignore adware from Claria corp
meaning you will get infected by this adware. althought
MSAS will allow you to remove it by manually scanning it
and selecting either quarantine or delete on the drop-
down list. wow its so hard to remove adware/spyware on
computer this days.

Please Microsoft put customer/user first. suddenly i
don't feel so confident on using MSAS. This practice need
to stop.

This is not accurate.

Claria products are still detected with an alert or a line at the end of a
scan.

What has change is the suggested default action. Previously it was
quarantine, now it is default. The user is free to choose any specific
action other than the default, including quarantine or remove.
