I recently have noticed that my computer has been running very slow. When I bring up the task manager it shows my cpu usage around 50% with no applications running. I looked in the process tab and found that my system idle process is using about 60 or 70 percent. I don't think this is normal. After finding this out i downloaded spyware doctor to see if it could be related to spyware or a virus. The program found 23 infections all of them being worms except one, but it says my infections aret a low risk. I could not remove the infections because I did not buy the software. Do you think these infections could be the root of my problems?

System Specs: Intel Q6600, Msi P6N Platinum, G.Skill 4GB, EVGA 8800GTX, WD 150GB 10,000 RPM, Silverstone ST75F 750W power supply, Windows xp home editon.
