Spyware Doctor detections

When I scan with "Spyware Doctor" by PC Tools, it says I
have 73 infections. When I scan with the Microsoft Anti-
Spyware it says I have 1 infection. Which one should I
trust ? Is it worth it to spend for the Spyware Doctor to
get rid of the alleged infections ? Thank you......

Try scanning with Lavasoft's ad-aware, or Spybot Search & Destroy. See how
many of those items are cookies, which are not scanned for by Microsoft
Antispyware in the beta builds released so far. Any number of applications
will handle the cookies, and without spending money.

I have found the spyware doctor is one of those programs that find a lot of
infections but won't clean them unless you buy the program. This to me is a
scam and I won't spend the cash.

Run some of the other programs especially the free ones and se what they
find. You will see that the infections spyware doctor find don't seem to
exist except in that program.
