Hello all,
I have SpybotSD, Adaware and MS anti-spyware(beta) programs. I run all 3 and
they clean everything. Moments later 2-3 pieces of spyware are back. They
keep accessing the registry no matter what I do. They add keys, modify
others, etc...
I can make basic registry edits myself but get pretty confused by all the
articles on setting registry permissions.
Does anyone know of a program that would act like a firewall for the
registry, that might ask which programs I want to give access to it?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Shawn
I'm using WinXP Home SP1.
The spyware/adware I'm having trouble with is...
1. Grokster(Adware bundler),found by MS (I tried this program but
uninstalled it and deleted original installer, still having problems.)
2. DSO Exploit, found by SpybotSD
