SpySweeper solved my problem!

I was having a problem with my IE 6 not responding
quickly to entering a URL in the address bar but was
working fine with Favorites.

I ran a Spyware checking program recommeded on this list,
ran Adaware, in addition to Norton. Problem still
existed. I went through XP reinstall in-place, still no
luck.

I downloaded SpySweeper from tucows and ran it. It found
SmartTags and removed it. My problem went away.

Just passing this on. I'm amazed how some of these ad
programs are getting on my PC to begin with. Until I feel
comfortable with just one sweeping program, I'll continue
to run multiple scan programs.
