Also if you want to take the plunge and download Adaware 2007, I have it on
10computers with no problems.
Just updating is a bit tricky but if you have a bit of patience everything
else runs fine

That's good news, but I'm not anxious to install it yet. I was very put off
by the different kinds of dreadful messes reported over at the Lavasoft
forum, and I still don't have much confidence in the program. I suppose when
they drop support for SE, I'll be forced into a decision!
they revamped the program and issued a new version number so you would want
to pick up the latest version. It still has some quirks in Vista but runs
fine on xp
It actually runs faster, uses less memory too. I still put the adaware 2007
service to manual even though it runs in the backround when you start the
program but on some of my computers I turn them on in the morning and shut
them off in the evening and for those who i do not do this I reboot them
once a week to clear out memory.
