Spybot Uninstall

I need to get rid of Spybot Search and Destroy to do a system migration but
found out I can't. Error says: The uninstall file
"crograms/spybot-Search&Destroy/unins000dat" is in a format not recognized
by tis version of the unistaller. Cannot uninstall.

I have a Belkin Easy Transfer cable that is not working. I am trying to do a
system migration. I read here that spybot was causing the transfer to lock
up so I thought if I uninstalled it may help my problem. I was, of course,
wrong.
