Spybot s&d Teatimer language issue

Downloaded and installed Spybot S&D final. Didn''t and still don't care for
the over 2Mb additional language files. Now when the TeaTimer starts up I
get an error that it can't find an .sbl-file ( in this case dutch). I tried
to run the update to get the dutch language-file, but it doesn't find any
updates. I really don't want to re-install it with over 2 Mb language files
included. Are there any settings I should change in the program or my OS
(win98SE) to fix this ? Or does anyone now another solution for this ?

I think that uninstalling reinstalling is the fastest way anyhow...
I run the Dutch version,.. no problem...

I don't mind reinstalling, I just think it's kind of stupid that one has to
install an extra 2.4 MB of languagefiles to get it to work, they could have
given us the option of choosing what extra languages you want to install,
instead of all of them.
By the way, great website you have.

Went there, found nothing, uninstalled spybot (undo immunize, uninstall,
reboot, delete folder), reinstalled it with the 2.4 Mb languagepack,
TeaTimer worked fine then, uninstalled it again (undo immunzie, exit
TeaTimer, uninstall, reboot, delete folder) , reinstalled it without the
languagepacks (including check for beta versions and using advanced mode
checking for updates at the US site), worked fine, rebooted, still works
fine.. Don't know what did the trick, but something did, and I'm a happy
Spybot S&D-user again, thanks for your replies.

bout Spybot,.. it seems to be a one man project... great job... i give
the man a lot of credit cos he is the only softbuilder that could
compete with ad aware. Now he does even more and better in hus 1.3x
version. I hope that he uses our feed back to improve his tools.

I installed it this week and only installed the English files.
Have you tried installing all languages and then deleting the unrequired
files?

Agreed, it's a great piece of software. Installer/uninstaller could be
improved, but the "pain" created by that is nothing compared to way the
program does what it has been written for, fantastic.

Thanks for the tip Ralph, but I've already somehow fixed it (see my previous
post), but this might do the trick also.
