You should run first one, and then the other. It doesn't matter which
comes first. Be sure to update both programs before running them, and
it is most useful to run them in Safe Mode.
Do not run the scans at both time! Each creates a backup file contain the
"suspected" spyware files. In order to have a successful clean-up, only one
should clear out the file. It would be possible (al though very slim) that
both could signal a file to be cleared out. Whicheve one gets to the file
first will clear it out and the second could hang when looking for the file.

Van;
It is recommended by many to use both. There is also even more assistance
available at a site that regularly uses both and several other programs to
clean systems of parasites . http://216.180.233.162/~swicom/forums/
Place this site in your favorites file and you will never be without help
when you need it. It is even a good place to lurk and learn.

Adaware sometimes picks up a component or two of Spybot as spyware.
Last time I ran both, it picked up Spybot ability to lock IE's home page
registry entry.
I use both, but I do look down the lists of what each finds before
letting them to their voodoo.

"Trustworthy Computing" is only another example of an Oxymoron!
"Produkt-Aktivierung macht frei!"
SpyBot warns of this if you install it after AdAware if you have AdAware
set to scan quarantined items. SpyBot puts a dummy cookie in quarantine
for Alexa in attempt to keep it from coming back, IIRC.

Oh, is that what is says?! I thought it was just another EULA to
ignore! ;-)

Yeah, that's pretty much what it says. Not an EULA but a "Compatibility
Warning". I always read that stuff, at least when using thngs at home.
