Yesterday Ian and I went to a place called Tatton Park - it's a National Trust property near Manchester. Had a really lovely day, it was actually quite warm when the sun was shining!

Anyhoo, I thought I'd share some pics :)

There is a farm as part of the estate, hence the pics of cute ickle fluffy stuff ;)

Oh they're lovely pics :thumb: I would love to have a cuddle of the lambs and piglets, they look so appealing  :D

Seeing the lambs bounce around was really funny :D There was one that must have only a few days old and when it tried to stand up it's legs were really wobbly, awwww!

Aahhh... you have to love their little "knock-knees" :) Were you allowed to get within touching distance? Or is that not permitted? (I love to be able to "hob-nob" with animals, it always feels so great when they respond to you :D )

They were just in front of us, so they were really close - even I thought the littlest one was cute ;) The little chicks were great, they're pretty fast runners for something so small!

I meant to have added that your pic of the Jackdaw is particularly good; they visit our garden in little family groups and are quite entertaining to watch. The very young ones often look as if they are wearing little grey bonnets :D Your Tatton Park visit must have been a very good day out :thumb:
