I am getting several sessions of SPOOLSVC running and
using all of my PCs CPU resources.

Does anyone know what this file is/does and what causes it
to run and take up the CPU cycles?

Hi Kashiwagi,

The spooler service is responsible for managing spooled print/fax jobs.
Spoolsvc.exe - You cannot end this process from Task Manager.

Thanks,

One thing that you need to be careful of is the fact that many
viruses/spyware have process names that are very similar to OS processes so
that you won't be suspicious of them
SPOOLSV.EXE is for the print spooler (manages print/fax functionality)
SPOOLSVC.EXE is the Troj/SXTB-A virus!!!! --->
