"Sponsored links"; self-installing trash etc.

My problem is- some 'programs' just install itself on my computer (I see
shortcuts on my desktop) and they keep coming back every time even if I
uninstall them. Like "My search bar" etc. I think they couse pop-upping sites
and advertising despite the pop-up blocker is on! The second thing that
annoys me is the appearing of random bolded letters or words in textes. These
bolded parts are actually some kind of "sponsored links".. It slows my
internet connection and general computer performance. Also, when I scan my
computer for viruses the program happens to find several trojan horses and
viruses. What to do? Does this have anything to do with browser add-ons?

The "My Search Bar" (MyWay / MyWebSearch) is adware, and it will have installed
numerous hooks in your system. You need to use common malware removal
procedures.

Chuck's advice is good advice - I suspect you have several unwanted guests
on your system, adware/spyware or viruses. I would recommend that you look
at my Web site - http://rgharper.mvps.org/cleanit.htm/ for a process that
might help you methodically eliminate any unwanted software you're carrying
around.

Thank you guys for your advices..
but I didn't solve the problem.
I installed Ad-Aware from the internet that found some 250 files to
quarantene (and/or delete). So, I though the problem was solved but the same
symptoms were there- especially that VERY annoying random bold-letters
"sponsored links" (some clue how to get rid of that?). This "sponsored links"
are really slowing opening sites ('couse it probably takes time for the
program to build up the links and choose the 'critical' words or even
letters).
Ok, the next time after restarting the computer and accessing to internet I
did another scan and it found other cca 50 files.. and again and again. What
is the problem? Is there some leak in the system (sharing-files programs
maybe?)?

If you are cleaning using AdAware, or any other single program, and the crap
comes back, you have a problem. Some of this crap is resilient - it runs 3 (or
more processes). Process A displays the ads, Processes B and C watch out for
Process A and each other, and restart each other whenever you stop one process.

The only way to get rid of the crap is with HijackThis to identify the problem,
and expert advice at one of the security forums noted in my article.
