sponsored google urls do not load

Hi,

please help. am using p4 2.8 gig ram xp sp2. if I do a Google search for any
subject the sponsored links at the right hand side or top do not load but
every other url works ok, any ideas please?

Hi,
Are you using the HOSTS file from http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm or
another source? The winhelp2002 HOSTS file blocks some google ads.

To disable the HOSTS file you can rename it to HOSTS.OLD (for example) or
edit out the entries that you don't want to block. Open the file with
notepad, put a # in front of entries you don't want to block and save the
file (File> Save.)

Being unable to access "sponsored links" on Google is not a bad thing.
*Opinion* - you don't want those links as they are not what you are
looking for.
