Splitting audio from video in MM2?

Is there any way to split or detach the audio track from an imported video
track (with audio) with MM2? I want to trim out a portion of just the audio
and move the remaining audio in its place.

If not, does someone know a good tool do this, then reattach the audio back
to the video? Or can one have a video clip with no audio, add an audio clip
and add a music track with MM2?

1. In timeline mode, Mute the audio of the movie track = Expand the mvoie
track to show the sub tracks of Transitions and Audio. Click on the Audio
part and select Mute.

2. Now drag a copy of the same "movie" clip from Collections to the
"Audio/Music" track.
3. Cut the music track where you want and drag it left or right.
