Hey all,

Almost there with my initial DAP over a network issue and splitting the
database attempt is giving me the following error: "The Microsoft Jet
Database Engine could not find the object "TempChgRegistryTable". Make sure
the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly".

Not sure what this is and I have no table named this within my database......

Please help.

Here's the deal. I am on a corporate network. I track 632+ records per
project and want to provide real time status to users with Read only access
to the folder. I do not control the security levels of the folders. I've
manually split the database and created a data access page from the back end.
Typical users with read only access to the folder can access the DAP but I
cannot input changes to the Front end when they are viewing it. If I move the
Back end and DAP to a unprotected area of the network, users can manipulate
the data in the back end tables which alter the data in the front end
obviously. Is there any way around this? PLEASE HELP.
