spidersearch.com search bar

One day, out of nowhere a line of 3 or 4 links showed up
under my address bar on my IE toolbar. When I go to
View/toolbar/ there is a "spidersearch.com Bar" I have
no idea how it got there. When you go to
spidersearch.com you are bombarded with
InternetEraser.com adult pages. I've written to
InternetEraser.com and they were very rude and
unresponsive claiming they have no such thing. Does
anyone know how I can get rid of this bar anyway besides
manually everytime I get on IE?
Thanks
Barb

An uninstaller is apparently available at
http://www.traffichog.com/toolbar/uninstall.exe. Use with caution. Scan
with an up-to-date antivirus programmes before running and set a system
restore point if using XP or Windows ME.

I highly recommend using HijackThis

assist in the removal of these bad guys. **Post your files to

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

Barb:

I got the same thing. Glad I'm that maybe by others
reporting this, we can move to eliminate it. I have just
posted my email under "janovot" and it should show up
shortly. Let's keep each other posted as I would like to
ring the neck of the person responsible.
