Outlook Express has a spellchecker; the icon is on top on your toolbar. If
not, go to Tools > Options > Spelling and set up whichever way you want it
to work. No need to buy anything. Good Luck Stan
PaulM was correct OE does not have a spell checker, though wrong in
stating you have to install Word. There are several applications that
can be installed to allow spell checking in OE, many of them free.

No, this isn't correct. Outlook Express has no built-in
spellchecker of its own. It uses the spellchecker fromMicrosoft
Office if you have it installed. If you don't have a Microsoft
Office component installed, you can get a freeware/shareware
spellchecker that works with Outlook Express.
