An Outlook MVP suggested I post this question to the Word group (not sure why
but worth a try).
I have always used Autocorrect and Spell Check in Outlook 2003. Recently,
instead of getting the pop up with suggested corrections when I hit Send, I
get an error message saying "The spelling operation could not be completed.
The word is too long for the dictionary". This occurs even if the message has
no words in it (Just a name in the To: box.
I can click OK twice to move past the message and send the e-mail but the
spell check does not take place.
Any idea on why it's doing this and how to fix it? I can tell you that the
spelling functions work just fine in other Office applications such as Word
and Powerpoint.
Thanks.
