Spell-checking in Word 2002...

....I have a colleague who types up notes for me using Word 2002 and then
passes the document to me for final checking/formatting. I've consistently
noticed spelling mistakes (which I correct manually). Even if I ask for a
spell-check, the mis-spelled words are ignored for checking, although they
are underlined. How can I ensure that my colleague spell-checks correctly and
checking works for me too?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?QmlybWFuZ2lybA==?=,

I'm having trouble with this last part: how are the words "underlined"? If
you mean a wavy red line, if you right-click such a word do you get
spelling-related choices in the context menu?

Have you tried using Tools/Options/Spelling and Grammar/Recheck?
