I purchased a new Dell with out buying MS Office since I already had Office
Pro 95 and only use Excel and a couple other programs. Word works fine and
the spell check works in Word but Outlook Express can't find the
dictionaries . Could this be caused by WordPerfect since it came with the
computer and I didn't uninstall it or is Office Pro 95 to old to work with
XP?

Thanks for any assistance...............Ron

CSAPI3T1.DLL

You can download it from here:
http://www2.whidbey.net/djdenham/csapi3t1.htm

Or a better way to get it from your CD
http://www.theeldergeek.com/oe_spellcheck.htm

If you prefer not to expand the file from your own XP CD or can't get the
procedure to work properly; Download Expanded CSAPI3T1.DLL File
directly into C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof
http://www.theeldergeek.com/Downloads/CSAPI3T1.zip

I tried this but I don't even have the spell check tab. I have Ms Works Ver
8.0 which does have spell check. Anything else I can do?

Thanks

And so it is, Bruce. I steer clear of geocities when I can. It's riddled
with popups. ;-)
